My name is Lynette Sundby, the creator of Sunbee Studio. My studio --built by my husband and I (mostly my husband, I admit)-- is sat neatly at the end of my garden in the South of England, where I bury myself in work and creativity once I'm able to convince my teenage daughters to do some of the housework for themselves.

My dog often accompanies me on the trips down to the end of the garden and sits in her chair whilst I work.

Living near the coast, I take a good deal of inspiration from the beach and the environment around it --I have always been fascinated by land art and using the landscape around us as both inspiration and tool.

I studied BA Arts and Design, with a pathway of Contemporary Crafts at university and my passion lies in quilt-making and textile art. I've wanted to set up my own business for years, but for all of my artistic abilities and skills, technology is not one of them. With the help of my eldest, I've set up this website and an Etsy shop, which I urge you to take a look at! I have several products in stock, but I also take commissions and would be thrilled to hear from you, so please feel free to contact me.
